Priyanka Chopra will celebrate her birthday on Wednesday and has reportedly taken time off her busy schedule to be with rumoured boyfriend Nick Jonas.

According to a new report on DNA, Jonas has already planned something special for Priyanka’s big day. “Nick has apparently made special plans for a quick getaway to one of Priyanka Chopra’s favourite beach destinations. He’s already made the bookings, but no one knows of the destination yet,” DNA quoted a source as saying. “So, the actress has taken a few days off from her schedule to be with him,” the source added.

Their relationship reportedly got serious after the recent India trip. According to a report on People.com, Priyanka said, “We’re getting to know each other and I think it was a great experience for him”. Priyanka and Nick had travelled to India late last month on a quick vacation, where Nick was introduced to her mother Madhu and attended the pre-wedding ceremonies of Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta. They were photographed holding hands at the event. “It was really beautiful. He had a great time,” Priyanka said. “That’s what he said. I think he really enjoyed it.”

More recently, the two have been spotted wearing matching gold rings. “They’re very happy,” a source close to the couple told People. “It’s getting serious.” Before the India trip, Priyanka had accompanied Nick to his cousin’s wedding. “It’s a huge deal that Nick brought Priyanka to his cousin’s wedding,” a source had previously said. “He’s dated a lot over the last couple years but it’s never been anything serious, so this is a big step.”

The couple has been spotted out and about New York City - from baseball games to double dates with Nick’s brother Joe and his fiance, Sophie Turner.

They first met at the 2017 Met Gala in New York, where they were representing Ralph Lauren. When asked about the relationship at the time, Priyanka had been vague to TV host Jimmy Kimmel.
