A new fan made video combines Avengers: Infinity War and Netflix’s Sacred Games in one epic mash-up. Watch here.

The summer’s two biggest hits couldn’t have been more different. Avengers: Infinity War, a superhero epic, rejuvenated the moviegoing experience, and grossed over $2 billion worldwide. Sacred Games ,a crime drama, introduced the world to India’s first Netflix original series. Both captured the imaginations of fans, and now one of them has brought them together in a cool new mash-up video.

Thanos was played by Josh Brolin in Avengers: Infinity War, Ganesh Gaitonde was played by Nawazuddin Siddiqui in Sacred Games.

We’ve already seen a fan-edited trailer for the film, told from the perspective of the villainous Thanos. But this one imagines the Mad Titan as none other than the gangster Ganesh Gaitonde - it’s interesting to note how the both of them have serious god complex.

In this new video, shared by a channel called ‘sd edits’, Iron Man takes on the role of Sartaj Singh, played in Sacred Games by Saif Ali Khan. Through some nifty editing and perfectly timed punches - all set to the tunes of Divine’s Jungli Sher, the song used in the original Sacred Games trailer - the video brings together two passionate fandoms.

And now that Infinity War is out on home video, scenes that were never shown in any trailer can be used for edits such as this. For example, we see Hulk pop up in his fight against Thanos the second Divine sings the world ‘Khiladi mere jungli hain’, and we also see Thanos say Gaitonde’s famous words, ‘Pachchis din hain...’

Both Sacred Games and Infinity War received positive reviews from critics. While the follow-up to the Marvel Cinematic Universe film will arrive in May 2019, no specific release date has been announced for the second season of Sacred Games. Although Saif has said that they have four seasons planned.
