India-Sri Lanka ODI: Visakhapatnam replaces Delhi as venue for series opener
The first ODI between India and Sri Lanka will be played in Visakhapatnam
The first ODI match between India and Sri Lanka, scheduled for December 13, has been shifted from Delhi to Visakhapatnam due to potential weather disruptions in the national capital and proposed stadium renovation work at the Arun Jaitley Stadium.

The air pollution in the national capital is usually on the higher side and with the outfield being relaid at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, the Delhi and District Cricket Association had requested the BCCI to move the game elsewhere.
"The venue change has been made following a request from the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA), in view of the potential weather disruption and the proposed renovation work at the stadium," said the BCCI in a release
The match will now be played at the ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam. The date of the series opener, originally scheduled for December 13, remains unchanged.
India will play three ODIs and three T20Is against Sri Lanka next month. The second and the third ODI matches will be played in Bengaluru on December 18 and Ahmedabad on December 19, respectively.
The Indian team will end the year with the T20Is, to be played between December 22 and 27 across Rajkot, Cuttack and Pune.
The Men in Blue are currently in the middle of an ODI series in New Zealand, which will be followed by two Tests.
