Hyundai Union Stages First All-Out Strike Since 2016 Over Wage Demands

Thousands of Hyundai Motor workers gathered outside the company’s headquarters on Friday as wage negotiations continued, staging an all-out strike for the first time in a decade. Around 39,000 union members participated in the protest, raising concerns over possible disruptions to production and supply chains at Hyundai plants in Ulsan, Jeonju and Asan.
